Syracuse-Duke game in Carrier Dome sells out for 2nd straight year
A sold out crowd of 35,446 is expected at the Carrier Dome when Syracuse plays Duke on Saturday evening, SU Athletics announced Thursday morning.
The crowd will match the college basketball single-game on-campus attendance record that was set last season in the Carrier Dome in the teams’ first meeting as Atlantic Coast Conference members.
Syracuse (16-8, 7-4 ACC) will tip-off against the No. 4 Blue Devils (21-3, 8-3) at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN. The Orange is coming off a 70-56 win against Boston College on Wednesday night, while Duke visits the Dome after beating Florida State on Monday.
